And this turned out to be Carl’s downfall, even in a literal sense. The individual did not follow Carl on purpose but secretly swung around the room and now stood on the other side of the door supporting Carl’s back. And then it happened. A short squeak was heard, followed by the door opening away from Carl. It caught the young man entirely by surprise, making Carl fall backward to the floor.
