The facility
The address was a large, gated facility on the outskirts of town. It looked like a cross between a rescue shelter and some sort of research center. Lucas parked their car next to the main entrance, and after that, the couple stepped inside, unsure of what to expect. Maria looked at every detail in the main lobby and saw many pictures of animals accompanied by people in beige outfits
