Fiddling sounds
The grey man disappeared from view, but Brody knew he was on the other side of the device. Brody heard the man fiddling around with the machine, and because of these audible actions, he placed his ear against the cold metal to listen in. But that was a mistake because a deep, low hum was heard seconds later from within the device. What followed was the most painful sensation of this young man’s life.
