Within 30 minutes, Molly reached the nursing home. She parked the car and asked the front desk if her mother was up for a visitor. The woman in uniform stated that Lilly had just awakened from her nap and would be happy to see her daughter. But Molly wasn’t so sure about that, given what she had found.
