Needing outside help
Inside his brick fortress, John felt safe for now. But he also knew he couldn’t lock himself inside his house forever—something needed to be done. John needed outside help, so his first instinct was to call the police. It was a good plan, but unfortunately for John, it didn’t work out as well as he hoped. John leaned in and grabbed the phone from the wall, never letting his eyes leave the backyard window.
