Is this a joke?
When John mentioned that he had a wild cat, the size of a leopard, in his backyard tree, the woman’s tone changed. She clearly felt that John was joking, and her words backed up this thought. “Sir, you do realize that this is the police; we don’t do prank calls.” John could hear anger building up in the voice of the police operator. But to John, this wasn’t that funny. His problem was serious and far from a prank.
