Reflective eyes
Amidst the darkness of his garden, two reflective eyes glinted and were looking directly at him. John stumbled back, his pulse quickening as he tried to understand what he saw. “It’s probably just a raccoon or a badger,” he muttered aloud to himself, feeling a little bit less sure than he did this morning. John laughed nervously, trying to dismiss the growing unease. But the poor man was way off, making this assumption.
