Going to his safe place
John kept glancing at the window, unable to shake the eerie feeling those eyes had given him. Eventually, he decided to skip beer altogether and go to bed. In his mind, it was a safe place, and the sooner it was morning, the sooner things could return to normal. However, seeing his bed covers did not calm John down fully, so he took one more precaution before going to bed.
